Certified International Dinnerware
Certified international dinnerware is a very distinctive and I'll go so far as to say unique type of dish that is by and far certainly not for everybody. But if it's your cup of tea, so to speak, then you have come to the right place because today I'm going to talk all about this company and this type of dish and dinnerware in as much detail as is humanly possible.
What I thought I would do is simply discuss several different sets that I find are fairly popular and talk about what you can expect as far as design and features (that is to say what pieces you can expect to come with your set) and also talk about the different prices so you know broadly speaking what to expect to pay. I may talk about some sets and I may just talk about some individual pieces; we'll just have to play it by ear and see.
Spicewood Set of 4 Ice Cream Bowls I couldn't resist talking about these ice cream bowls because they're so unique and interesting and at $30 you really can't go wrong. I keep calling these things unique and interesting and things like that but the fact of the matter is they look like something your seven-year-old child made in art class! Misshapen clay blobs really describe these bowls well but they are so colorful and playful that many people just can't get enough of them.
Rise & Shine Dinner Plate Set of 4 continuing along the lines of playful and zany is this set of four dinner plates that cost $40 which comes out to about $10 a plate. The things are square and earthenware that is both microwave-safe and dishwasher safe. The designs are orange, yellow, and red in nature and contain one large picture of a rooster or chicken on each plate which is a little weird because they're not elegant chickens they're more like cartoon chickens; but to each his own!
Spicewood Set of 4 Mugs these mugs cost $30 for a set of four and really go with the Spicewood ice cream bowls that I mentioned earlier in that they are the same design however these aren't quite as misshapen as the bowls so they don't really look like your child made them in art class but they still have that zany art feel to them which many people enjoy. They are ceramic and quite large and some people have a hard time drinking coffee out of them before the coffee cools off because the mug is so big.
Tuscan Harvest Salad Plate Set of 4 Finally I wanted to talk about this set of four salad plates that cost $40. They are earthenware and hand-painted and the design may not really put you in mind of Tuscany but rather of a country scene in America. The bowls contain leaves with one piece of fruit such as an apple or pear or pumpkin. Two of the plates are green and two of them are red.
I may not be the best person to describe certified international dinnerware because I don't really like it. There, I will admit it like an adult... I don't like them. They seem poorly crafted and the designs are overly garish and they just seem tacky to me, but sometimes that's what you want in a casual dinnerware piece and if so you certainly cannot go wrong with this brand.
