The design is that same square theme that is seemingly Asian overall. The plates are dark cherry red on the inside and black on the outside. The exact opposite theme dominates the mug and the bowl making a contrast that is visually stunning. At $95, expect to pay a little bit more for this set but that is just because they are stoneware.
Corelle Square Pure White 30-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 6 finally I wanted to discuss a slightly larger set and this 30 piece set fits that bill. At about $103 it's a little bit more expensive but of course you're getting more pieces. While all of the other sets I discussed had some sort of design element, this is a stark white set with no colors and no designs whatsoever. It comes with six each of dinner plates, dessert plates, small bowls, larger bowls, and mugs. Made out of Vitrelle glass, they are both dishwasher and microwave safe.

When it comes to these dishes you have options in design as well as options in construction, from Vitrelle all the way up to stoneware and many others in between, you can be sure that these will hold up very well for many years to come.
