Home trends are a great brand of dinnerware. For their price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better set of dinnerware anywhere. They hold up great, they're easy to take care of, and they look great in almost any dinner situation. There's something solid about them that just makes them feel good in your hands.
Where to Find Home Trends Dinnerware: The best place to find Home Trends Dinnerware is Wal-Mart as I believe it is a Wal-Mart brand. There are places all over the Internet where you can find and order replacement pieces, but in my experience the replacement pieces are prohibitively expensive. If the entire set cost $32 dollars, it doesn't really make sense to pay $22 dollars to replace one plate, does it? In this case your best bet may be to just go buy a whole new set.
There are many different Home Trends Dinnerware sets that I personally like. One of my favorites it the Home Trends Rave 16-Piece Square Dinnerware Set. It comes primarily in Green and is very reasonably priced at around $35 dollars (though you may just be able to find it on sale for even less). There's something especially Asian about these dishes, though I'm not really sure why. Maybe its because the Asian food place on campus at my old college served their food on square dishes, I don't know! The set is reactive glaze stoneware in modern square shapes. It has four dinner plates, four dessert plates, four bowls, four mugs and is both dishwasher and microwave safe. Model number 65750.16RM
Another Cool Set Is: the Home Trends Mystic Odyssey 16-Piece Dinnerware Set. It is blue, and like the set above, it contains square plates, but with a funky checkered-ish dark blue and black pattern that's pretty cool looking. It is also reactive glaze stoneware that is both microwave and dishwasher safe (thank goodness!). It contains four dinner plates, four dessert plates, four bowls, and four mugs. Very cool little set and it costs a little more, at just under $50 bucks.
Square, what about regular round? You got it! One of my favorite round sets is the Home Trends Blues 16-Piece Dinnerware Set. It's very smartly priced at only $29.86 if you can find it! The pattern is sort of half black and half white, but with streaks that make it look really cool. Like the other sets I mentioned, it comes with four dinner plates, four salad or dessert plates, four soup bowls, and for 12-ounce mugs that are pretty nice really. It has a high glazed finish as you would expect and is stoneware that is microwave and dishwasher safe. This is a great set for both everyday use as well as more formal fine dining situations.
