Stoneware Dinnerware Sets
When it comes to stoneware dinnerware sets you have so many different options that your head spins just thinking about it! There is no one company that sells this type of dish, in fact most companies sell some sort of stoneware dish so when it comes to these things you really just have to go with the company that you enjoy the most or simply pick the dish that you enjoy the most for whatever reason you have.
On this page today I have brought together some of my favorite stoneware dinnerware sets for you to look at so that you have an idea of the different options that are available and you can see the different price ranges that are out there so that you get a fairly good idea of what you have to work with in this area. I hope it gets you started off on the right foot, and that is my goal today.
Sedona 16-pc. Dinnerware Set at $30 this is a very nice entry-level stoneware set. I guess you would call the color red but it's sort of a mixture of red and orange but muted because of the stoneware. The set contains a dinner plate, salad plate, a salad bowl, and a mug. The inside of the bowl is red like the plates and the outside of the mug is red like the plates however the inside of the mug and the outside of the bowl are sort of muted tan color. I would describe these plates as rustic in nature but vibrant in color.
Corelle Hearthstone Stoneware Square 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 this is a very sophisticated looking set and a very elegant looking set that will cost you about $90 making them perhaps more expensive than many people are interested in. The set comes with a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and a mug and the plates are square-ish in nature in what can only be described as an Asian style. These dishes are safe for use in the oven as well as the microwave and dishwasher and come with a one-year chip warranty which is odd because they're made of durable stoneware so you wouldn't think they would chip anyway!
Domo 16-pc. Dinnerware Set at $40 this is a very interesting looking set. Deep dark red on the inside of the plates, mugs, and bowls... but surrounded by dark black on the outside of each of them which gives this set a colorful overtone but yet elegant at the same time because of the black. Unlike many stoneware sets this one is glazed but at the same time oven and dishwasher safe. All in all this is a pretty good set that should hold up very well over time.
Banyan 16-pc. Dinnerware Set at $40 this is a very interesting looking set that is overwhelmingly green in color but a subdued green because of its earthy look. The insides of the plates bowls and mugs are green but they are banded by a rustic brown border that makes me think of a forest. I would certainly suggest that this is a more casual set and not really a fine dining type of thing, but then again most stoneware seems to fit that description doesn't it?
So there you have several options when it comes to stoneware dinnerware sets. Hopefully now you have a fairly good idea of the different patterns that are available from some of the different companies as well as the different types of prices that you can expect to run into. Stoneware dishes are great because they are very beautiful and they hold up so very well.
